Aviro360 Named to the 2027 FreightTech100

Aviro360 has been named to the 2027 FreightTech100, FreightWaves’ annual recognition of companies driving innovation across freight and supply chain technology.
This year’s FreightTech100 was selected from a record number of nominations, with FreightWaves’ Research team evaluating companies based on documented innovation, market impact and how their ideas have evolved. Aviro360 joins a group spanning established transportation companies, technology providers and emerging innovators across artificial intelligence, automation, visibility, fleet technology and other areas shaping the future of freight.
Built from the Operation Out
Aviro360’s technology was born in real-world terminal and depot operations. Originally developed within ConGlobal, it applied decades of operating expertise to a challenge seen across the industry: the disconnect between what was happening physically in the yard and what operating systems could see.
The technology was developed and refined in those environments for years before Aviro360 became a standalone company, creating an unusual foundation for an emerging technology provider: years of real-world operating experience and application before entering the broader market. FreightWaves recently traced that history, noting that the technology has been in development for more than a decade and its core products are now in their third generation.
That experience continues to shape Aviro360’s approach today. The goal isn’t to add another system to the yard. It’s to give the systems operators already rely on better information about what is actually happening on the ground.
Closing the Gap Between the Yard and the System
Aviro360 uses computer vision, AI and automation to create greater visibility at critical points across the yard, from gate activity and asset inventory to security and operational workflows.
As Aviro360 President and Managing Director Ilhan Kolko recently told FreightWaves:
“You can invest in a YMS, TMS, ERP, any kind of system of record, there is great software out there, we integrate with all of them. But if that critical data input from the yard, the actual physical site, is lacking, then your true physical workloads take the hit.”
Aviro360 is designed to close that gap by giving operators a more continuous view of assets, movements and activity across the yard, reducing dependence on periodic manual checks and helping ensure operating systems reflect what is actually happening in the physical operation.
The approach is scaling. Aviro360 technology is currently live at more than 80 sites nationally, with booked business extending beyond 120 sites by the end of 2026, according to FreightWaves.
From Operating Problem to Industry Recognition
Being named to the 2027 FreightTech100 marks another milestone for technology that began with a practical operating question: Is there a better way to see what is actually happening in the yard?
Today, Aviro360 is bringing that technology to a growing number of operations, using visibility, automation and intelligence to better connect physical activity with the systems and people making decisions about it.
